Q: Will I be able to see the technician control my computer?
A: Yes, you will be able to see everything the technician is doing. You'll see the technician moving the mouse around the screen as they fix your problem. You will be able to show them the exact problem you are having. There will also be a chat window where you and the technician can communicate during the session.

Q: Does the technician have complete control over my computer?
A: No, you will be sharing the computer with the technician and can terminate the session at any time by right clicking on the support icon in your system tray and selecting “close”.

Q: Is it safe to let someone control my computer?
A: Yes, It's completely safe. Unlike a conventional computer repair center where you drop off your computer and "hope" they will fix it, our service allows you to watch and be involved with everything the technician is doing. You can stop the support session at any time. Once the support session has been terminated the connection is broken and the support program is no longer running. The technician will not be able to access your computer again unless you download and run the support program again. At no point will this application install itself or any other applications on your system. The connections between out servers and your computer are also encrypted for security and privacy.

Q: How long will it take?
A: Every problem is different, some problems take longer to fix than others. Spyware and Virus issues can take a few hours to fix depending on the level of infection and the damage caused. After we are done evaluating your situation we will let you know what remote assistance service level is necessary, an estimated time-frame the service will take, as well as advise you on any software purchases or installations that are recommended.
